So we’re watching the movie Matilda right now, and I had a few thoughts:

- Why does the Trunchbull run a school if she hates kids?
- I’m not 100% sure, but I would think the Chokie is illegal anywhere in the United States.
- I love that choclate cake that Brucie had to eat; I want my next birthday cake to be the exact same thing.
- In the Matilda universe, does Child Protective Services no exist? Because, I counted a number of times where CPS and the police should have been called.
- Let me get this straight, supposedly the Trunchbull KILLED Ms. Honey’s father. Was there no investigation into his death??

Just a few thoughts. I know I probably destroyed this movie for myself, and whoever reads this. Sorry.  It’s still a good childhood movie/book though.

also consider this

- there are laws about wondering children…the librarian shouldve reported that
- the mom was WAY too skinny for her to give birth to Matilda
- where are all the other teachers in the school? didnt they have issues w/ the Trunchbull?
- the legality of the adoption paper was without a notarary to validate it

there was more…but ill leave it to that. haha
